Lois Briggs

Lois Theresa Briggs passed away  on July 11, 2022 in Littleton, Colorado at the glorious age of 95.

Lois grew up in New York and graduated from Catherine Academy in the Bronx. Lois moved from New York to Colorado at the age of 22 with her husband and young son, where she lived for the rest of her life. Lois worked as a licensed practical nurse for over 35 years.

Lois enjoyed playing softball and bowling. She loved the ballet , singing, water aerobics, and gambling at Blackhawk. Lois loved to travel and see the world; she was very proud that she had visited almost every continent on earth. Lois was a devout catholic, whose faith was always at the center of her life.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband, Robert E Briggs. Lois is survived by her two sons, Gary Briggs (wife Eusita), Dennis Briggs (wife Cathy) and her daughter Victoria Kidney (husband Jerome).

Lois was also blessed with six Grandchildren; Michael Briggs (wife Vanessa), Jeri Lynn Thrailkill (husband Scott), Charmain Briggs, Jennifer Lovejoy (husband Brian), Krista Briggs Peterson (husband Golden) and Elijah Briggs and seven Great Grandchildren, Madison Garduno, Audrey Garza (husband Tony), Niko Garduno, Olivia Hornsby, Alyssa Garduno, Molly Lovejoy and Mika Peterson.

Lois’s funeral mass will be held on Friday, July 22, 2022at 3:00 p.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel,   3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard,  Lakewood, CO.

Lois’s family respectfully requests that guests in attendance wear something of red, as red was Lois’s favorite color.

She will be laid to rest with her husband at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
