Lois Shirley Carney

Lois ""Shirley"" Carney passed away October 7, 2015 at the age of 95. She was born August 23, 1920 in LaSalle, Colorado to James and Edith (Gage) Carpenter. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Jean Carney. She is survived by children Deborah Carney, Kevin (Brenda) Carney, Robin Fountain and Stacey (Bruce) Cuthbertson. Also survived by nine grandchildren and one great grandchild with one more on the way. A memorial service is planned for Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at Park Hill United Methodist Church at 10:00 in the morning. Light refreshments will be served following the service at the church before committal services at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area C, at 1:15 in the afternoon.
