Lois E. Fahey, 81, entered into the Kingdom of Heaven on August 8, 2012. She is preceded in death, by her husband of 54 years, Thomas, on June 14th, 2012. She is survived by daughters; Suzanne (Larry) Beski, Michelle (Pete) Van de Sande, and Denise (Matt) Glass, grandchildren; Johnny (Brianna) Beski, Meghan, Alyssa, and Elliott Beski, Jessica, Sarah, and Christopher Glass, and sister; Charlene Butler. A Denver native, Lois earned her lifetime Colorado teaching certificate. She was an educator in the Denver Public Schools and started the first pre-kindergarten in the Archdiocese of Denver at Most Precious Blood Catholic School. She, along with her husband Thomas, started, Swim 'N Things, the first specialty retail swimwear store in the Rocky Mountain region. Lois lovingly prolonged the life of her husband Tom, one of the oldest survivors of Juvenile Diabetes in the nation, through her constant and watchful care for over 50 years. A Visitation will be held, Monday, August 13, 5-7pm with Rosary to follow at 7pm, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 1091 South Colorado Boulevard, Denver. A Funeral Mass will be held, Tuesday, August 14, 10am, at Church of the Risen Christ, 3060 S. Monaco Parkway, Denver.
