Lois Ann Hans

77, born April 20, 1930 and passed away March 30, 2008. Lois was a long time Cherry Creek resident, retired fashion model and mother. Survived by son, Michael; brother, Tom J. Collins; Sister-in-law, Carol Collins. Preceded in death by brother, Dan M. Collins(Race Car Driver/Instructor) in 2004. Graveside service 2:00 PM Monday, April 7, 2008, Spring Valley Cemetery. Directions to Spring Valley Cemetery: From Colorado Boulevard South to Leetsdale 1/2 left on to Leetsdale to Route 83 South, on Route 83 South continue through Parker, past Franktown, past Cherry Valley School House (on left) and continue until you see the Greenland Road sign on the Right (DO NOT TURN). Continue on Route 83 to Jones Road (also Colorado 80); turn Right onto Jones Road on Jones Road continue for approximately 2 miles until at ""T"". Turn Left onto Spring Valley Road on Spring Valley Road go up the hill, through the Black Forest Pine Trees and to the Spring Valley Cemetery on the Left. Turn Left into the gateway. Parking is available in front of the Chapel. Walk South, down the hill, past the Chapel on the Right and the Gravesite is close to the stone for Pearl Best. OR I 25 South past Castle Rock, past Larkspur, take Greenland Exit (a very small sign); turn Left under the highway onto narrow passageway and continue East on Greenland Road until Route 83 South. Turn Right > onto Route 83 South. Then turn Right onto Jones Road (Colorado 80); at end of Jones Road at the ""T"" turn Left onto Spring Valley Road and continue up the hill, through the forest and to Spring Valley Cemetery on the Left. Turn Left into the gateway. If you miss the turnoff on Jones Road, the next Right turn is Lorraine Road; Turn Right onto Lorraine Road and across a small bridge up to the 1st intersection and turn Right onto Spring Valley Road near the little old School House which is on the Left. The Cemetery is slightly further on the Right.
