Lois Maurine Hopkins

Maurine went to be with her Savior on August 5, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, Orville Hopkins, who departed in 2003. Maurine is survived by her son, Don Hopkins (Cleta), her grandchildren, Steve Hopkins (Stephany), Bill Hopkins (Mary), and Scott Hopkins (Karen). She leaves 10 great-grandchildren and 10 great-great grandchildren. Maurine spent her life in eastern Kansas until 1994 when she moved with Orville to Northglenn, Colorado. Since 2005 she has been living in Thornton, Colorado. She had a love for flower gardening and being around people. Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, 2012 from 6-8 pm at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton. Funeral Service will be held at Thrive Church, 2820 West 92nd Avenue, Federal Heights, on August 10, 2012, 10:30 am.
