Lois was born November 16, 1914 in Bridgeport, Illinois and died peacefully on November 29, 2007. Her parents were Burr and Anna Farr. She grew up in Grass Creek, Wyoming. She was predeceased by her parents and her younger brother, Ermon. She attened Macmurray College on a music scholarship and graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in music. She met Harry Radford at CU and they were married for 55 years before his death in 1993. An accomplished pianist, she taught music for many years and played for many occasions wherever she lived. She and ""Rad,"" as she called him, lived in Haxtun, Colorado for a number of years. They raised and showed Arabian horses, one of whom was a National Grand Champion. They moved to Houston, Texas and lived there for many years. They enjoyed their many extensive travels. In 2002 Lois moved to Denver where she continued to share her beautiful music and sweet personality. She was the beloved mother of Julie (Paul) Harper, Barbara (Pete) Bullock and Paula (Sammy) Salter. She was dearest ""Mimi"" to 5 grandchildren Chris and Tony (Pam) Harper, Sheila (Jeff) Harris, Brian and Doug (Susan) Bullock; and 7 great-grandchildren Joel, Daniel, Timothy and Michael Harris, Erika Harper and Jack and Eliza Bullock. She is also survived by a nephew, Tom (Carol) Radford and sister-in-law Marilyn Radford. She will be remembered fondly by many friends as well. A celebration of her life will be held Thursday, December 6th at 11 AM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, Colorado. Committal will take place at a later date in Houston, Texas. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to the Dumb Friends League, Dept. 1884, Denver, CO 80291, would be appreciated.
