Lois Elaine Sneed

Lois Elaine Sneed passed away peacefully in her bed the morning of Tuesday April 16, 2013, she was 88 years young. Born February 11, 1925 in Columbus, NE, Lois was a dedicated homemaker. She gave 17 years of service with Aurora Public Schools administration, and was a licensed realtor. She was an expert seamstress, member of the LaCie Bon dance club, and founding member of the original Denver Lane Rangers Redhead bowling team. Loving and supporting wife to the late Robert W. Sneed for over 68 years, devoted mother to Joy McGee of Greenwood Village, CO and Gary (Laura) Sneed of Rochester, MN, grandmother of five, great-grandmother to seven, aunt of six. ""Mama"" was loved by all that had the pleasure of knowing her and will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, donations suggested to the Colorado Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association, 455 Sherman Street, Suite 500, Denver, CO 80203 – In Memory of Lois E Sneed. A committal service will be held Monday April 22, 2013 at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area C. at 10:15 AM.
