Lolita Panti Ortiz, age 78, died in her home in Westminster on July 11, 2024. She was born on November 2, 1945 at Virac, Catanduanes, Philippines. Lolita met and married her husband while he was stationed at Naval Supply Depot, Subic Bay, Philippines. She was a graduate of Emily Griffith Opportunity School of Cosmetology and she pursued a career as a hair stylist.
Lolita lived a fulfilling life as a devoted wife and mother. She loved to read the Bible, crocheting clothes of all types, tending to her flower and plant gardens, playing bingo and the slot machines, and cooking her delicious Filipino dishes. Mrs. Ortiz was preceded in death by her mother and father, Tomasa Panti and Teodoro Tablizo. Lolita is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Reggie Ortiz, four daughters, a son and several grand and great grand children, nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
