Loren T. ""Sam"" Anderson

September 15, 1975 — February 15, 2017

Loren Thomas (Sam) Anderson, 41, of Centennial, CO, passed away at Littleton Hospital on February 15, 2017. He was born September 15, 1975 in Duluth, MN. He is survived by his much loved children, Landon and Harper, girlfriend Stephanie Privette, Highlands Ranch, CO, parents Loren and Kathy Anderson, Centennial, CO, brother Michael, Seattle, WA, and sister Sarah (Peter) and nephews Hendrik and Garrett and niece Ingrid Ericson, Denver, CO. After graduating from Lutheran High School in Denver, CO, in 1994, Sam travelled the country opening restaurants for Dave and Busters. He also worked in restaurant management for Cheddar's in Austin, TX. Upon returning to Colorado in 2012, he worked in millwork and counter top fabrication and was currently pursuing a degree in Construction Management at Arapahoe Community College in Littleton, CO. Sam loved NASCAR, the Broncos, camping with family and friends, and his dogs. His favorite times were spent travelling with Stephanie to sandy beaches around the country. A creative soul at heart, he particularly enjoyed and excelled at the art of cooking and the role of family chef. He had a generous heart and was deeply loved by his entire family and will be missed. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday, February 20th from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 5303 E. County Line Rd. Centennial, CO 80122. A Memorial Service to celebrate his life will take place at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, February 21st at Our Father Lutheran Church, 6335 S. Holly Street, Centennial, CO. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Loren ""Sam"" Anderson Children's Education Fund in care of U.S. Bank, 7801 E Arapahoe Road, Centennial, CO 80112.
