Loretta (Lizzy) Stizza Di Grappa, passed away at the age of 94. She is survived by her loving husband, Frank, her four children, Mike (Jeannie), Tom (Mary), Tricia (Scott) and Terry Weiner (Jeff), eight grandchildren, Mark (Tiffany), Paul (Jill), Elizabeth Bachman (Kevin), Katie (Jeff), Wes (Keri), Gillian, Molly Weiner and Bailey Weiner and seven great-grandchildren, Joe, Ethan, James, Wyatt Bachman, Dominic, Hunter Bachman, Sully and Baby Bachman.
She was born and raised in a small town in rural Oklahoma and lived through the depression. Lizzy went to the University of Oklahoma receiving a degree in Journalism with a minor in Photography.
She married Frank Di Grappa in 1951 and supported him in his work by moving nearly every 2 years for the next nine years. They finally settled in Denver after having their last child. She worked hard to create a home for her family but also worked at a sale person for the Denver Dry Goods Company and later as a bridal consultant at Bea's Bridal Boutique.
She was very creative, a good seamstress and a terrible cook. She loved to travel and would bring back unique finds to decorate her home. Lizzy's favorite food was pie and cookies. She laughed easily and was kind.
