Lorna May Darling

Lorna M. Darling went to her eternal Jubilee on Fri., Jan. 13, 2012 at the age of 94. She was born in Varina, IA, grew up in Ladysmith, WI, married Earl J. Darling and moved to Cheyenne, WY. She lived most of her life in Aurora, CO and was a long-time member of Park Hill United Methodist Church in Denver. Daughter, sister, teacher, wife, mother, cook, homemaker, friend, traveler, gardener, seamstress, needle worker, grandmother and great-grandmother - she did all of these with humor, kindness and loving grace! Survived by sister Ilo Stewart; sons Harold L. (Connie) Darling, David J. (Sharol) Darling, Edwin E. (Jane) Darling and daughter Carol A. (Gary) Cox; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. Service of celebration will be Thur., Jan. 19, 10am at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. with visitation one hour before the service.
