Lorna Lee Maus Wagner, 93 of Aurora, Colorado, passed away December 12, 2017. Lorna was born June 5, 1924 in Chicago, Illinois to Doris Catherine and Leon Harvey Maus. Lorna is preceded in death by her three siblings: Douglas Leon Maus, Donald James Maus, and Doris Catherine Maus Gire. Lorna is survived by her three children: Lorna Lee Wagner, Douglas Richard Wagner Sr., Catherine Louise Wagner Giddings, their respective families, Six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, her nieces, nephews and friends from church and elsewhere Lorna was very familiar with traveling due to her family moving often and at one point lived in Webster Groves, MO. While living in Webster, Lorna met her husband Page Paschal Wagner Jr. and his sister , Anna Mary Wagner LeMasters. The kids were in high school together. Lorna and Page were married May 25, 1943. All the boys went to war during WWII. It was a very scary time for their families. All made it home except Don. He was lost in Korea. By then Lornaâs family had moved to CA. and she was living in Webster Groves with the Wagnerâs .When Page Jr. came home he went to work for the Missouri Pacific RR as did his father Page Sr. Lorna and Page moved numerous times. Lorna managed to keep track of three children, set up each home and kept everything running smoothly. Both Lorna and Page were very active in the Presbyterian Church where ever they lived. Lorna was on the governing board of the Presbyterian Synod . She and her friend Marge went to Japan for missionary and Synod work. After she and Page retired to Aurora, CO. they helped build St. Paul Presbyterian Church USA. They worked diligently to keep it going. In honor of Lorna, a Celebration of Life will be held 1:00PM, May 12, 2018 at Horan & McConaty (11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014). Please give your condolences to the Wagner family.
