Lorraine M. Cordero

Lorraine M Cordero (Bures) was born July 6, 1974 and taken from us way too soon, on February 24, 2019, after a long, spirited battle with cancer. Born and raised in California, Lorraine eventually ended up in Colorado. She worked retail for several years and met and married the love of her life, Gerardo Cordero they are raising two children, Elijah and Yzabella.

Lorraine loved to spend time outdoors, camping, hiking, and at the local pool. Her fun, caring spirit and vibrance made a room come to life when she walked in; you couldn't help but be happy and laugh along with her incredible smile and laughter.

Lorraine had a strong passion for mentoring young ladies and was a leader at her churches youth group. Her ability to connect with and help young ladies see their potential and all that God sees in them was truly a gift. She also spent time networking and building her business along side other small business owners and enjoyed helping ladies develop their business. She was often referred to as ""Networking"" in the southern cities of denver.

Lorraine was dedicated to her family, immediate and extended. Her proudest accomplishments were Elijah and Yzabella.

Lorraine will be missed by an enormous collection of family and friends, but no one more than her Mother Margaret Bures, Sister Michelle Sarabia and brother Steve Bures Jr. She was preceded in death by her father Steve Bures Sr. We were all blessed to share her laughter and smile.

A celebration of Lorraine’s life will be held on Saturday, March 2nd at 10:30 am at Word of Life Christian Center, 8700 Park Meadows Dr, CO 80124.
