Louis Lockwood

Louis Gerald Lockwood was born to Gerald & Ethel on February 23, 1937 in Denver, Colorado.  Louis went by the name of “Buzz” to many and passed away peacefully at home with his daughter Jessica and grandson Roman by his side on December 16, 2021.

Buzz grew up and was raised in Westminster, Colorado.  After high school, Buzz enlisted in the United States Marine Corps on April 5, 1954 and served 4 years.  After being honorably discharged, he returned home and started working road construction with Brannan Sand & Gravel.  In November of 1986, Buzz married Helen in Las Vegas, Nevada and they remained married for a faithful 26 years until her passing in 2013.  Buzz was a dedicated husband and father.  In his spare time, he enjoyed spending time with his dogs Pepe and Marci.  He also enjoyed going to Blackhawk and he also loved a good’ol breakfast burrito from Chubby’s.  Buzz will always be remembered as a kind person who would give anything to see you happy.

Buzz is preceded in death by his wife of 26 years, Helen.  He is survived by his daughter Jessica Lucero, stepson Daniel Garcia, stepdaughter’s Lori Lopez & Linda Garcia, and grandson Roman Lucero (1).  He also leaves behind many close friends and a lot of family.
