Louise Anna Kreisler

Louise A. Kreisler, 87, of Fort Collins died May 25, 2011. She was the wife of the late Lyle L. Kreisler who died in 2000. Louise was born to Fred and Leah Niles Hackett on June 19, 1923 in Galeton, Pennsylvania. She was a former employee of Westinghouse Corporation in Bath, New York. She loved being a homemaker and her hobbies were knitting and word puzzles. Louise enjoyed sports, especially baseball. If you were to ask her, ""Who's your favorite team?"" ROCKIES of course. Surviving are son and daughter-in-law John and Barbara Kreisler; granddaughters Kimberly and husband Chad Gray, Kristine and husband Erik Devlin; great grandchildren Dylan Gray and Asha Devlin, all of Fort Collins. She is also survived by her sister Leah Rhodes of Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania; brother-in-law Wendell Kreisler and wife Laura of Westfield, Pennsylvania; as well as several nieces and nephews. Louise was preceded in death by her brothers Erastus Hackett, Fred Hackett and Charles Hackett and sisters Isabelle Ottman, Margaret Kiren and Birdie Judd. Interment will be held Monday, June 6, 2011 at 10:30 AM, Fort Logan National Cemetery. A Memorial Service will be held same day at 3 PM, Columbine West Health & Rehab Facility, 940 Worthington Circle, Fort Collins. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice. The family would like to thank the many people and caregivers who supported Louise through her illness, and especially Columbine West Health and Rehab for the wonderful care and support.
