Louise Price, 92, of Arvada, died September 6, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Price; and son, Steven. She is survived by two sons, Ralph of Arvada and David of Denver; a daughter, Sally; two granddaughters, Sarah Price of Fairfax, Virginia and Amelia Brinker of Pueblo; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Mildred Pierce and Jo Ann Alexander; and several nieces and nephews. She was born the fourth of five children to Claude and Mamie Greer of East Point, GA. She attended Russell High School and was employed during World War II at The Atlanta Military Depot where she met and married her husband, Warrant Officer William R. Price. She was a housewife, member of the P.T.A. and Cub Scout Den Mother. Following the death of her husband she attended Denver North Community College where she studied Information Technology. She was employed by the Westman Commissioning Company of Denver and retired in 1981. She enjoyed bridge, dining out and the company of her granddaughters and great grandchildren and she was an avid environmentalist. A memorial service will be held Friday, October 1, 2010, 10:00 am, at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3020 Federal Boulevard, Denver, Colorado. She will be laid to rest at a later date at Fort Logan National Cemetery with her late husband and son.
