Retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years of service. Survived by wife Goldeen; brother William (Mary); sons Alvis (Barbara) & James Jr.; seven grandchildren; ten great grandchildren. Interment will be Monday, 1:15 PM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver CO.
