Lucien Lucio

Lucien (also known as Leon or better known as Papi/Poppy) was born in Wisconsin and raised in Detroit, Michigan where he met Crystal and had two beautiful children, Antonio and Angel. Lucien was a man of curiosity with a drive to better himself and his family which led him to Colorado where he pursued his dreams of a better life.

Lucien had a passion for cycling, volunteering to support various causes, using his imagination to build anything his grandchildren desired, spending time doing anything outdoors and of course no weekend without the Denver Broncos. He is survived by his son, Antonio and his wife Cherie, two grandchildren Angelina and Jaylen Lucio, and his life-long friend and mother of his children, Crystal Willis. He is also survived by several siblings, nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends. Lucien is proceeded in death by his daughter, Angel Lana, his father, Leon Lucio, and his beloved Aunt and Uncle, Janie and Johnny Munoz.

Papi/Poppy was a special, loyal, and devoted person who only saw the best in everyone and would find the positive in any situation. He lightened up a room with his bright and bubbly smile and his motivational, optimistic, and fun-loving personality. He will be greatly missed and is forever loved.

We will celebrate the life of our wonderful father, grandfather, and friend. Funeral services will be held at Horan & McConaty at 7577 W. 80Th Ave. A viewing will be held from 9:30a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Celebration of life service held 11:00a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a reception with lunch from 12:00p.m. to 1:30p.m.
