Lucille Rath Chisholm died May 30, 2009 in Houston, Texas. She is survived by her son John (Terry) Houston, and step-son William (Mary), St. Cloud, Florida, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. She was born in Cheyenne Wyoming, graduating from high school there, later attending Northwestern University in Chicago. She was employed by the Telephone Co. and the State of Wyoming. She was selected for the Fifth Officers Training School of the U.S. Army (W.A.C.) and attained rank of Captain. Upon honorable discharge in 1945, she attended court reporting school in Denver and Chicago, and upon graduation operated her own business, reporting proceedings before the Supreme Court, the District Court, and national conventions across the United States. She attended First Church of Nazarene, and was a member of The American Legion, the T.T.T. Society, and National Court Reporters Association. She was married to William J. Chisholm for 54 years. He preceded her in death on June 15, 2003. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to charity of choice or Shriners Crippled Children's Hospitals, %El Jebel Shrine, 4625 W. 50th Ave., Denver, Colorado 80212. Burial will be at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver on June 25th @1:00p.m.
