Lucille Loyola Gasner
February 2, 1936 - March 22, 2025
Lucille Loyola Gasner, 89, passed away peacefully in Denver, Colorado at HighPointe Assisted Living.
Born on February 2, 1936, in Trinidad, Colorado, Lucille was a proud and devout Catholic who attended Catholic school and remained faithful throughout her life. She built a quiet but meaningful legacy grounded in service, devotion, and deep love for her family.
Lucille worked for many years as an administrative assistant, known for her strong work ethic, humility, and quiet strength. She enjoyed the simple joys of life: sewing, gardening, bingo, and square dancing. She never turned down a good tamale-especially from La Casita in North Denver-and had an enduring love for Entenmann's chocolate donuts with her morning coffee.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joseph John Gasner, who passed away on August 12, 2011. Lucille is survived by her three children: Darlene (Mark) Irvin, Kathy (Steve) Poirier and Gerald (Mayonie) Burke; seven cherished grandchildren.
Recitation of the Rosary 10:30 am, Funeral Mass 11:00 AM, Monday, March 31st, both at the Church of All Saints, 2559 South Federal Blvd., Denver, CO, followed by a burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 2:00 PM.
The family invites you to share your favorite memory of Lucy.
May she rest in eternal peace.
