Lucille Stein

August 4, 1923 — June 23, 2011

Lucille was born in Gillespie, Illinois on August 4, 1923. She was an artist and had been accepted in national and regional juried exhibitions and her paintings are included in many private collections in the United States. She graduated from the University of Missouri, in Columbia in 1945 and pursued her specialty of music and art over her entire lifetime. Lucille was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority, Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Other passions included dance instruction for Arthur Murray, professional ball room dancing exhibition and dachshunds. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Kenneth; children Michael and Valerie; grandchildren Kenneth, Peter, Merrick; and sister Angela Newton. Recitation of the Rosary will take place on Friday, July 1, 2011 at 12:00 PM, Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado. Followed by a Committal Service at 2:15 PM, Fort Logan National Cemetery, 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Pavilion C, Denver, Colorado.
