Lucretta Kay Flagg

May 14, 1940 — April 17, 2025

Littleton

Lucretta Kay Flagg passed away peacefully in her sleep, Thursday April 17th, 2025. She was born May 14, 1940 in Independence, Missouri to Faun and Eldon Spillman. She was an active person through her childhood loving all aspects of her life but., her true passion was dance. She performed quite often through her high school years. When the time for college came around she ended up selecting the University of Kansas to attend. During her high school years she met a boy named Charlie at the carnival in town, he lifted her up on the carousel and she knew she had met her “guy”. Charlie asked her to marry him on April Fools Day of 1959. They were wed on June 25, 1960. Her and Charlie would have two sons while living in Independence, Rich and Jeff. Lucretta continued her love of dance with her and Charlie spending many nights out dancing, She even taught dance in the community where she and Charlie lived. Her dance through this life took many turns leading her to many different addresses including Independence MO, Omaha, NE, Richardson, TX and Littleton, Co. During her stay in Richardson she became a dental assistant, a career she loved for many years. She unexpectedly lost Charlie in 1983 this caused her to really show her grit, courage and determination through the rest of her life. After Charlie’s passing she put her love of travel and passport to use and traveled across the globe, including to her favorite place to be (besides Texas) Portugal and Spain. During this time she met Ralph, and the two of them continued traveling, continued dancing and continued a love they both thought they would never find again. She and Ralph were consistent companions until the end.

Lucretta was a woman who always knew what she wanted, was never afraid to speak her mind and a woman who loved her family fiercely and loved to be surrounded by them anytime she could. She was as loving and caring as she was feisty, as full of life as she was stubborn. Lucretta danced her way beautifully through this life

Lucretta is survived by her sons, Richard and his wife, Diane Flagg, Jeffery and his wife, Susan Flagg, her grandchildren, Kira and her husband Nick Imrie, Chelsie and her husband Brycen Long, Ashley and her husband Justin Read and Jace Flagg. She has eight great-grandchildren, Cooper, Tucker, Kali, Brooklyn , Finley, Wyatt, Waylon and Abigail.
