Denver

Eddie was born on January 8th, 1944 to Rebecca Chavez and Lyle Tinkers in Denver, CO.  He entered into eternal life on August 16th, 2020.

Eddie was the oldest of 5 children, Robin, Janie (Ron), David (Carol) and Shelly.  He had one son Jonathan (Aquilina) Candelaria, and one daughter Stacey Cunningham.

He had 10 grandchildren, Jonathan Jr., Richard, Andrea, Demetrius, Gia, David, Coy, Mia, Bunny, and Jacey.

He also had 9 great-grandchildren, Emmanuel, Illianna, Josiah, Ezekiel, Ava, Jonathan III, Bella, Anaya, and Quincy.

He attended North High School before entering the military where he proudly served in the Army and the Navy in Vietnam.  After being honorably discharged from the military Eddie spent the next 35+ years serving the greater Denver area as a Cement Mason with the Local 577 Union.

Above all these accomplishments Eddie had a deep passion for golf.  He was an avid golfer and boasted about being out on the green even during the winter months so long as the course was dry.

He was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother and friend.  Other than the military Eddie spent his entire life in North Denver.  He loved where he lived and felt no reason to ever move.

Services will be held at Ft. Logan National Cemetery (4400 W. Kenyon Ave., Denver, CO 80236) on Tuesday, September 8th, 2020 at 10:15 a.m., Staging area "C".
