Lynette Twiford

Funeral liturgy for Lynette Beatrice Twiford, 32, will be held 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 26, 2010 at the Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Glendo, Wyoming with Father John Savio as the Celebrant. A Vigil for the Deceased will be held at 7:00 P.M. Sunday, July 25, 2010 at the Gorman Funeral Homes Converse Chapel in Douglas, Wyoming. Interment will be in the family plot at the Horseshoe Cemetery near Glendo. Lynette Twiford a former resident of Glendo and more recently of Wesminster, Colorado died Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at the emergency room of Saint Anthony North Hospital in Wesminster. Lynette was born October 24, 1977 in Sterling, Colorado the daughter of Jack and Stanetta (Schmitz) Twiford. She attended kindergarten and first grade in Sterling. The family moved to the Twiford Ranch west of Glendo in the fall of 1986. She continued her education in Glendo, graduating from the Glendo High School in 1996. She attended Casper College in Casper, Wyoming for two years, and transferred to the University of Wyoming in Laramie and graduated in May, 2001. She continued her education at the University of Wyoming School of Pharmacy, and graduated in May, 2005. She has worked at the Medical Center of Aurora as a clinical pharmacist since 2005. She served as Miss Rodeo Platte County in 1997, and was 3rd Runner-up Miss Rodeo Wyoming in 1997. She placed 1st in Miss Rodeo Wyoming Speech and Modeling in 1997. She enjoyed rodeo, roping, golf, flowers, and traveling. She loved the family ranch and thoroughly enjoyed her job. She was a member of the Catholic Church. She is survived by her parents, Jack and Stanetta Twiford, of Glendo; siblings, John (Dee) Twiford of Cheyenne, Wyoming, Tom (Maddie) Twiford of Glendo, Tricia Twiford of Denver, Colorado, and Jackie Twiford of Glendo; aunts and uncles, Jim (Jenne) Twiford, Calvin (Kathy) Twiford, Gary Twiford, Barb (Bruce) Kilmer, Sally Kapusciak, Steve Schmitz, and Bob (Carolyn) Bing; and numerous cousins. She preceded in death by a sister, Mary Jayne Twiford, on April 16, 1989. Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Twiford, John Twiford, Travis Bing, Brent Kilmer, Greg Kilmer, Nathan Penã, Milo Twiford, and Duane Twiford. Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Christian Paynter, Amy Swofford, Kallie Gorter, Amy Jo Hittle, Tara Bing, Rose Haroian, Scott Kapusciak, and all of her family and many friends. A memorial to the Colorado Chapter of Cystic Fibrosis, 1355 South Colorado Boulevard , Suite C200, Denver, Colorado 80222 would be appreciated by the family.
