M. Shea

M. Ramona Shea, 91, of Littleton, Colorado passed away peacefully on August 8, 2020. She was born to her parents Elizabeth M. (Orkies) and William E. Craven on October 26, 1928 in Denver, Colorado.

Mona was a very delightful woman who valued her time with family and was a devout Catholic. Mona graduated from West High School in 1947. She was a manager for many years at Stop n’ Save gas station in Delta, CO. Most of all, she was an amazing stay-at-home mom and cherished the amount of time she was able to invest in her children. Mona was also a breast cancer survivor and fought courageously at the age of 76.

She is survived by her husband of 72 years, William P. Shea. Her legacy includes her beautiful family: William P. Shea II (Debra), Mark P. Shea (Kathy), Deborah L. Shea, Penny A. Smothers (Richard), Bridgette L. Shea (Gary Brown). Teri S. Ahlberg (Mike), and Wendy J. Shea-Tamag (Allen); 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.

In honor of Mona, a Rosary will be held 3:00pm, Friday, August 14, 2020 at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home (5303 East County Line Rd, Centennial, CO 80122). Memorial Service 10:00am, Saturday, August 15, 2020 with Committal to follow in Horan & McConaty’s Rocky Mountain Memorial Park.
