M. Jeanette Tonilas, 1931 - July 16, 2018
Jeanette Tonilas, most beautiful daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, volunteer, and so much more, was called home to be with beloved Jesus. Jeanette, a devout Christian, was a beautiful soul with a warm heart. She touched the lives of so many people in a positive way. Outside of enjoying time with her family, she enjoyed her volunteer work, spending almost 15,000 hours serving the veterans who served our country. She also enjoyed ballroom dancing, playing the piano, and singing in the church choir. Her husband of 50+ years preceded her in death. She is survived by three children, two grandchildren, two step grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Her memorial mass and life celebration service will be held at St. Kateri Catholic Church in Dearborn, MI. Details of the service are being worked out and will be posted on this site in the future. We encourage family and friends to post and share their favorite memories of Mrs. Tonilas to share with the family, and express our appreciation for posting your memories.
