Maclin James McBride, Mac, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on December 19, 2015. He was born to Sean and Nancy McBride on August 28, 1995 in Laguna Hills, California. Maclin graduated from Thunder Ridge High School in 2014 in Highlands Ranch, CO and was currently a sophomore attending Colorado Mesa State University in Grand Junction, CO where he was a member of Theta Xi fraternity. Maclin was a compassionate and kind son, devoted and protective brother to his two sisters, and loyal friend to so many. He was quick to cheer up or help anyone in need and was known for his generous heart and sweet nature. Maclin loved the outdoors and camping and was also a talented artist and enjoyed sketching. Maclin was a role model and mentor to his younger cousins. He had aspirations of following his father and grandfather into the Marine Corps. Maclin is survived by his parents, Sean and Nancy McBride of Highlands Ranch and his sisters, Caroline and Susannah. He is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Carol Morgan of Houston, TX, his paternal grandfather James McBride of Arvada, CO, several aunts and uncles, cousins, and countless friends who were blessed to know him. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandmother, Sally McBride and his maternal grandfather, John Morgan. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Horan & McConaty in Centennial, CO.
