Madison ""Madi Padi"" Lau

Madi age 23, treasured daughter, sister, auntie, granddaughter and friend passed away Friday, September 23, 2016 surrounded by family. Madi was born in Farmington, New Mexico on July 21, 1993 to Wyndal and Jill Lau. She is the youngest of 4 siblings. Madi is an avid Broncos fan and enjoyed music, dancing, cadillacs and spending time with family and friends. Most of her time was spent with her sister and lifelong best-friend Dascia, husband BJ and their children. Madis' nieces and nephews meant the world to her and would do anything for them. She had the most infectious smile and laughter and wasn't shy about sharing them with anyone. Madi had a huge heart and loved the world. She was a friend to everyone. She always thought about others before herself often putting their needs first. Madi is so loved! Her absence has left an unfillable void in the hearts of everyone that knew her. ""A day will come when my tears will stop flowing for you, my heart will stop aching for you, my longing for you will cease forever, my memories of you will fade away ... and this will be the day when I breathe my very last breath."" Madi is survived by her mother, Jill Lau; her brother, Brooks and wife Colleen; her sister Dascia and husband BJ; her sister Ribbon and husband Paul; 9 nieces, Chana, Halli, Grace, Stella, Estavonica, Destiney, Kadija, Dymond, Devenity, Uneek; and 5 nephews, Lonnie, Zaniel, Jackson, Preston, Devante; paternal grandmother, JoAnn Lau-Mixon; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. Madi is preceded in death by her father, Wyndal Lau; paternal grandfather Leo Lau; maternal grandfather OT Steed; and maternal grandmother Betty Steed. A Memorial Service in Madison's honor will be Sunday, October 9, 2016, 11:00 at Horan & McConaty at 9998 Grant Street Thornton CO 80229.
