August 27, 1916 — January 2, 2016

Beulah Mae Gay, 99, of Highlands Ranch, Colorado passed away January 2, 2016. Mae attended the Foothills Bible Church. She was a loving wife, mother, and godly woman. Mae was an avid hugger, walker, country dancer, and Dallas Cowboys fan. Mae was very creative with thread and fabric. Mae and her husband Thomas Reed Chappell owned a mom and pop grocery store in Sonora Texas for 12 years. Mae is preceded in death by her husbands Thomas Reed Chappell and Bob Gay. Mae is survived by her daughters, Joyce Purcell and her husband Howard Purcell of Texas, and Betty Jean Jones of Colorado; granddaughter Kimberly Campbell and her husband Todd Campbell of Texas; and her great granddaughters Hollie and Shannon Campbell of Texas. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 5 from 6-8 PM at Horan & McConaty, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado. Mae will be interred in Austin Texas.
