Maggie Schultz Watson, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and sister, passed away on April 8, 2022. She was born as Megan Beth Schultz on January 12, 1981, in Louisville, KY to Greg and Ruth (Hunt) Schultz. Her brother Kurt was born in 1984, and in 1989 the family moved to Gainesville, FL where she gained the nickname Maggie. She had a lifelong love of volleyball, music, and dance and was a member of the Buchholz High School dance team. In 2001, Maggie met her love, Levi. She was deeply romantic and loved all things to do with Medieval times. In 2005 she lived her dream of being a princess when she married Levi. They enjoyed concerts together and traveled to Medieval festivals in the US and castles in Germany. Maggie was known for her openness and compassion. She was always willing to lend an ear and a shoulder, and to share a smile and a warm hug. She also had great strength of spirit and could accomplish anything she set her mind to. Maggie’s compassion and fierce determination shined through in her choice of profession. In 2010 Maggie completed nursing school at Santa Fe College. She believed in the healing power of kindness and the human spirit, and she loved caring for her patients in the same way that she cared for friends and family. In 2012, Maggie and Levi were blessed with a son, Emmett. In 2014, the family fulfilled her dream of moving to Colorado, where she had vacationed and learned to ski as a child. In 2016, the family grew again with the birth of their daughter, Mira. Maggie loved the seasons and snow in Colorado and was happiest when hiking in the mountains with her family. Her care and compassion was a blessing to all who knew her, and she made lifelong friends wherever she lived. Maggie was followed in death the same night by her daughter, Mira. She is survived by her father, Greg, her mother, Ruth, her brother, Kurt, her husband, Levi, and her son, Emmett. Maggie was a unique and compassionate soul, and she will be dearly missed.
