Mahlon Rade

Mahlon Verle Rade, 89, of Denver Co passed away on December 11, 2020 at North Suburban Medical Center from the covid19 virus. Mahlon was born March 2, 1931 in Southard, Oklahoma. He was one of five children born to William and Edith Rade.

Mahlon came to Colorado with his new bride Sherril J (barney) Rade who preceded him in death in 2010. Mahlon is survived by daughters Deborah, Sharon, Lori and Arlene, his sons Steven and David, his two granddaughters, Sarah and Catherine, four great grandchildren Jackson, Stella, Kase and Kaious, and his sister, Charlotte. He is preceded in death by his granddaughters, Erica and Tara, his grandson, Michael John, his sisters, Darlene and Gwen and his brother Edwin.

Mahlon began work in Colorado as mechanic then moved to boiler maker 1960's and retired approximately 25 years later.

Mahlon had a love of baseball and football and played in high school and college achieving All American level. He also enjoyed playing guitar. One of his favorite songs was "Under the Double Eagle". He was also very adept at character drawings.

Mahlon's drive in life was always caring for and giving to his family up to the end. He will be missed and forever loved.
