Malcolm Alan Sizer
Born December 3, 1940 in Littleton, CO. Entered Eternal Life on February 20, 2019, after a battle with cancer. He was a long-time resident of Parker, CO
Malcolm was the second child of Kenneth M. Sizer of Greeley, CO and Clara E. (Underwood) Sizer of Pueblo, CO. He served in the U. S. Navy from 1960 to 1964 as a boiler-tender aboard the USS Collett (DD 730) WESPAC. Upon his discharge from the service, Malcolm began working at General Motors in Denver, CO. He retired from GM on March 1, 1993 after working there for 28 years. He was a proud member of the Sons of The American Revolution (S.A.R.) Mt Evans Chapter. He was also a descendant of a Civil War Veteran and an avid classic car enthusiast.
Malcolm married Joanna K. Heaney (Nee Bagley) on August 9, 1989 in Evergreen, Colorado.
He was predeceased by his parents Kenneth M. and Clara E. Sizer; step-father Ralph Daumann; older brother Kenneth M. Sizer II.
Malcolm is survived by two children from a previous marriage, Yvonne M. Sizer and Curtis M. Sizer; his sister Diana M. (Scott) Waiter; his step sons, Howard C, Heaney II, Shawn P. (Angela) Heaney, and William C. Heaney; Grandchildren; Shawn David Heaney, Mark Logan Heaney, Henry Douglas Heaney, Josephine Rose Heaney all of Colorado and Luca Elias Bruggen of Germany.
Malcolm will be greatly missed.
Visitation Friday, March 1, 2019, 4:00-8:00 pm. Funeral Service Saturday, March 2, 2019, 11:00 am, both at Horan & McConaty, 5303 East County Line Road, Centennial, CO 80122.
Interment Fairmount Cemetery.
