Marc Edward Visscher

Marc Edward Visscher, born April 24, 1973 in Kalispell, Montana, passed away February 18, 2010 in Lakewood, Colorado. He is survived by his parents, Larry and Arlene, and his brother, Rich. Also, his sister-in-law Deahna and his nephew Mason; his cousins, Leanne Olson Brock, Justin Walker Kraemer, Todd Visscher, and Bob Visscher, Jr. His Aunt Peggy and Uncle Ted, Uncle Ken, Aunt Jean and Uncle Bob. Marc lived in Kalispell, Montana from his birth until 1977, when the family moved to Kansas City, Missouri. He attended kindergarten through 2nd grade. Once again, in 1977, the family was transferred to Lakewood, Colorado where he has resided since. Marc attended DeVinney Grade School, Dunstan Junior High and graduated from Green Mountain High School. He loved to ride his motorcycle on our property in South Park, Colorado. For many years, our weekends were spent ""at the property"" with Dave and Vicki Meisinger. Marc always had a friend with him to enjoy their camping time. Marc loved the outdoors and hiking on Green Mountain. He and his friends spent a lot of time up there, hiking and watching the animals when possible. Marc liked to play soccer when he was small, and first came to Colorado on a soccer tournament. He then graduated up to loving hockey, basketball, and football. He and his friends spent lots of hours at the sports bars on game days. Marc was a ""Jack of All Trades"", so to speak. He could do jobs such as sprinkler systems, landscaping, painting and general remodeling. He and his father, Larry, remodeled our house into what is today a beautiful place we call HOME. Our home is so filled with his love and work; many hours of labor that we will continue to enjoy. He was a warm and generous person to all he met. He had many friends he stayed close with; Dennis and Danny, Cassandra, and her son D.J., and Samantha. We will truly miss his antics and his cooking that he dearly loved. If ever you needed help, no matter what, he was always there. We deeply appreciate that each person who knew Marc, and tied so hard to help him, is now here when we need your help. He is safe and will always be deep in our hearts. So, in the evening sky, look up, and know that he is watching over us. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, February 26, 2010, Six O'Clock in the Evening at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3101 South Wadsworth Boulevard, Lakewood, Colorado.
