Margaret ""Margie"" Anne Bezjak

Margaret ""Margie"" Anne Bezjak, age 78, died peacefully at her home in Lakewood, Colorado on July 6, 2015, after a six year battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born September 20, 1936 in Denver, Colorado to Addie and Edward Rear. In 1955 she married Ed Bezjak and together raised two wonderful daughters, Laurie & Julie. Margie was a full-time mother, but after the girls were grown she worked for many years at the Arapahoe County Elections Department. Margie was famous among her friends and family for being a positive and energetic person, the first to laugh at a joke or herself, and always was willing to help others. Her compassionate personality lead to friendships that have endured for many decades, and bonds with her siblings that lasted until her last breath. Margie is survived by her husband Ed; daughters Laurie (Mike) Shearer and Julie Bezjak; grandchildren Carly, Mallory & Greg Shearer; sister Eileen (Joel) Miles; brother Edward (Gail) Ryer.
