Margaret Kathryn Grant Close

Margaret Kathryn Grant Close, 91 of Black Hawk was born March 20, 1921 in Adair, Iowa to Edward Grant and Mary Hollinrake Grant. She passed away August 3, 2012 in Boulder, Colorado. She was preceded in death by her husband William Francis Close on December 20, 1997. Margaret is survived by her daughters Roberta Close and Barbara (Marlin) Doane; She is also survived by her grandchildren Cody Aaron (Nicole)Doane, Cory Ann Doane, Adrian Cole Doane; her great granddaughter Hailey Marie Doane; her brother James (Janie) Grant, and numerous nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by her brother John Grant, and her sisters, Sr. Mary Francella Grant, R.S.M., Sr. Mary Roberta Grant, R.S.M. and Sr. Mary Raymonda Grant, R.S.M. Funeral Mass will be held for Margaret on Tuesday, August 14th at 10:00AM at St. Rita Catholic Church, 326 Highway 119, Nederland Colorado 80466. As you leave Boulder Canyon heading west into Nederland, St. Rita Catholic Church is the 1st building on your left. Parking is available on the street if necessary.
