Margaret passed away peacefully in Hospice care at Lakewood Reserve at the age of 93 on December 10, 2024.
Margaret was born in Scott City, Kansas on April 9, 1931, to Ralph Pfenninger and Alice Boring Pfenninger. She graduated from Scott City High School and married Robert Cook on July 22, 1949. Margaret and Bob were life-long members of the Presbyterian church and served as officers of the church in Texas and Colorado.
Margaret was a top Avon representative for over twenty years. Her interests included bridge, sewing, golf, hiking, fishing, volunteer work and church activities. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bob, of 59 years, brothers Walter and Ralph Pfenninger and her sister, Rose Torson. She is survived by her children Linda Miller (Eddie), Debbie Knutson (Jim), Bobbie Cook, four grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Friday, January 10th, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Green Mountain Presbyterian Church, followed by an interment at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
