Margaret ""Meg"" Jessop

Margaret Mairs Jessop, ""Meg"" died December 9, 2013, in Centennial. Meg was born to Charles and Minnie Mairs March 5, 1921 in Cascade, Idaho. She married Curtis Jessop in 1941. They raised their children in Utah and Denver. In 1968, they moved to Sterling, Colorado, where they owned Watkins, a women's clothing store. They received many awards for their fundraising efforts on behalf of the Colorado Heart Association. Their later years were spent in Centennial. Meg loved being a mother and grandmother more than anything else. She also loved fashion, her pet dogs, gardening, and the mountains. Meg is survived by a son, Jon, of Centennial; a daughter, Sherry Williamson, of Cortez; seven grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. A Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 17, 11:00 AM, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 6061 S. Havana St., Englewood, CO 80111.
