Margaret Ann Major

Margaret Ann (Margie) Major of Littleton passed away peacefully on January 12, 2018. Preceded in death by her husband John “Jack”, sons Dan, John and baby boy; mother of Mike (Betsy), Becky (Jim), Dick (Jamie) and Bob. Grandmother of Jim, Lindsay, Emily, Kristen, Mark, John and Steve. Great Grandmother of Lauren, Angelique, Lily, Dominic, Calvin and Dalton. Sister of Nancy Wilcox. Margie was born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on February 10, 1927. Grew up in Denver and attended Denver Cathedral elementary and high schools. Married to her loving and devoted husband Jack on September 6, 1945 in San Francisco California. Very active in Denver and Colorado Democratic politics throughout her adult life including serving as precinct committee woman and district captain as well as a member of Governor Dick Lamm’s senior staff. She started and directed the Citizens Advocate Office for 13 years. Margie will be dearly missed as mom, grandma, great grandma, sister, aunt and friend.
