Margaret Miller

Margaret Lorilla (Hetsler) Miller passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021.

Margaret was born on June 26, 1934 in Ann Arbor, Michigan to Rebecca (Card) and Carl Hetsler.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Phillip “Pete” Miller and sisters, Mary (Hetsler) Smith and Marjorie Hetsler.

She is survived by her five children, Jim Miller and his wife Sally of Eagle, Colorado, Susan Miller of Denver, Sharon Kay of California, Sandra Miller of Hawaii, Stephanie Jones and her husband Nolan of Kansas.  She has three grandchildren Phillip, Margaret, and Forrest and two great-grandchildren Levin and Liam.  Margaret is also survived by her sister Patricia “Pat”  (Hetsler) Dixon.

Margaret lived most of her life in Denver.  She graduated in 1952 from Denver South High School.  She spent many years working for the City & County of Denver providing exceptional customer service with Motor Vehicle and other departments.  She retired as a billing customer service representative from Denver General Hospital.

She loved and cared for animals.  She always had a well-loved pet. She was never a stranger to the animals on their walks where her kind greeting was appreciated.

Memorial Service will be held at 10am on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at

Horan & McConaty, 1091 South Colorado Boulevard, (at Mississippi Avenue), Denver, CO  80246.

Burial will take place at 12pm at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Pavilion 'A', 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, Denver, Colorado 80235.
