PARSONS, MARGARET J. ""PEGGY"" 1923 - 2012 Denver native passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2012, after a brief illness. Born November 21, 1923, she lived her entire life in the Denver area, close to her parents, Gail and May Venrick, and her brothers and sisters, Tommy, Theresa, Gail, and Virginia. After retiring from Mountain Bell, she spent her time with friends and family, and traveling with her long time companion, Jack Cecil. Peggy also volunteered many hours as Treasurer for the Jean Jugan Society for the Denver Little Sisters of the Poor; prepared and served meals at the former shelter at St. Joseph's Parish in Denver. She is survived by 3 children, Patrick, Douglas, and Tim. Preceding Peggy in death was her 1st born, Byron J. ""Butch"" Parsons, who died in 1968. In addition to her children are 8 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to attend a 10:00 AM Wednesday, August 28, 2012 Memorial Mass at Mother of God Parish, 475 Logan St., Denver, CO 80203. Interment ceremony will follow at 11:30 AM at Rocky Mountain Memorial Park, 11148 E. Dartmouth, Denver, CO 80014.
