Margaret L. Schueneman

April 28, 1927 — February 15, 2015

Margaret Lois Schueneman, nee Moore April 28, 1927 – February 15, 2015 Margaret Schueneman was born in Columbus, Ohio, to Herbert and Ruth Moore. She attended Central High School in Columbus, graduating early. She worked for a number of private companies and the State of Ohio. She was a member of the Columbus Chorale, and she enjoyed attending dances at the YMCA. Her life changed at a Y dance the night she met Robert Schueneman, who was shortly to become her husband and love of her life. As Bob followed his career, the couple lived in various places in Ohio, Colorado, and California. Margaret made a loving home for Bob and their three children no matter where the family landed. She loved board games and card games and had total recall when it came to remembering which cards had been played and who had played them. No weekday was complete without watching the game show Jeopardy. Margaret's Christian faith was an important part of her life. She was a deacon at the Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church in California. She and Bob were involved the Active Adults at the West Bowles Community Church, and with Bible study groups throughout their lives. Margaret was a leader in Bible Fellowship (Miss Johnson). Her last church, who ministered to her with love. Margaret is survived by her husband, Bob, her daughter, Laura Fischer (Bill), sons Bruce (Jesusita) and Tom (Jayne), granddaughter Sara Schueneman-Leiman (Mike), grandson Herbert Schueneman, and sister, Virginia Wiseman. The family is most grateful to her nephew, Gary Wiseman, and his wife Kathy for their tireless support in Margaret's last difficult years as she struggled with pain. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Red Rocks Fellowship.
