Margaret Ann Tod Stuart beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt of Denver, Colorado passed away peacefully on April 18, 2017 after a battle with cancer. She was 60 years old. Ann was born on October 15, 1956 in Burlington, Iowa to John A. Tod and Margaret L. Baker. Ann graduated from Burlington Community High School in 1974 and the University of Iowa in 1978 where she was a member of Kappa Alpha Theta Sorority. Ann moved to Denver in 1984 and had a long career in banking with Mellon Financial, Chase and Aurora Loan Services. Most recently, she worked with North Highland Presbyterian Church. Ann is survived by her mother Margaret L. Baker of Boulder, Colorado, her father John A. Tod and her stepmother Pauline Tod of Sarasota, Florida, her husband of 16 years Doug Stuart of Denver, Colorado, her daughters Carolyn (Seth) Ohringer of Thornton, Colorado and Susan Walicki of Denver, Colorado, her sister Susan T. (Tom) Stahl of Greenwood Village, Colorado, her nephew Bradford Stahl, her niece Grace Stahl both of Greenwood Village, Colorado, and former husband Florian Walicki of Denver, Colorado. Ann was a kind and gentle person who loved her family, friends, the mountains of Colorado and her many pets. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. A service is planned for Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at North Highland Presbyterian Church at 2950 Julian Street, Denver, Colorado.
