Margaret (Marge, Margie, Maggie) was born May 3, 1935 in Lincoln, KS to Robert A. Belton and Mayetta M. Belton. After a short but courageous battle with adenocarcinoma, Margaret joined her beloved husband Bill, her mother and father, her brother Robert, her sister Roberta (Babe) and many other friends and family in the beauty of Heaven to spend Eternity with our Lord and Savior. She was 81 years young. Margaret is survived by her 4 children, William Jr., Krisi Johnson (Glen), Stephen, and Kelly Matta (George); 8 grandchildren, Courtney, Lindsay, Brock, Sarah, Michael, Bethany, Haley and Anthony (AJ) and 6 great-grandchildren, Giovanni, Andrew, Lily, Sophia, Luke and Noah. Marge is also survived by her older sister, Mary Scheidt. Marge grew up in the Denver area and attended St. Joseph's High School and graduated in 1953. Married at the Cathedral in downtown Denver on January 16, 1954, Margaret & Bill lived in Denver, Thornton, Lakewood and finally settled into their dream home in Conifer, CO where they both lived out the remainder of their busy, full lives. Both were active members of The Pleasant Park Grange #156 along with many good friends and neighbors. Marge held a variety of retail jobs throughout her life, her last as a Dept Manager at the Conifer Safeway where she met many life-long friends. After retiring from Safeway, Marge fulfilled a dream by opening Mountain Birds Seeds-n-Needs while her husband Bill opened South Platte Anglers, both in Conifer. On Feb 8, 2017 we will have a Celebration of Margaret's life at Our Lady of the Pines Catholic Church, 9444 Eagle Cliff Rd in Conifer. Viewing 9-10am, Funeral Mass 10am with a reception following at the church. Services at Ft. Logan National Cemetery, Staging Area ""B"" at 1:30pm.
