Margie A. Kinslow

December 7, 1931 — February 13, 2018

Margie was born to Sarah Chipman and Diamond Wendelboe December 7th 1931 in Salt Lake City. She was schooled at Uintah, Roosevelt and East High schools. A graduate of the U of U in music she affiliated with Delta Gamma. She married James Kinslow in St. Pauls Episcopal Church in the fall of 1952. They moved several times to Western states as Jim’s job required, finally to Denver, Colorado where she resided permanently. Jim died accidentally in 1982. She loved the opera and traveled to various venues where they were performed. She was a member and officer of several women’s organizations and volunteered extensively. She loved her dogs. All were French poodles with French names. She will be buried next to her parents in Salt Lake City. A private ceremony will be held. Survived by cousins Tanny Stayner and Louisa McPharlin, “nieces” Susan Haglund and Julie Reiser; “nephews” John Reiser and Scott Stayner. Preceded in death by her parents and husband. We would all be blest to have a friend as Maria Garrett has been to Margie through her life and the time of her illness. She would best be remembered by contributions to animal care organizations.
