Maria Annette Chavez

Maria Annette Chavez, 42, of Aurora passed away unexpectedly on October 20, 2017. Born on February 9, 1975 she is the daughter of Nancy Carter, and the late Marion Carter. Maria married Juan Chavez on March 9th 2007, and together they shared 9 wonderful years of marriage. Maria worked as a Pharmacy Technician for the VA Hospital. She loved her family and enjoyed going to see her children play soccer. In addition to her mother, and her husband, Juan, she is survived by her children: Brandon Allen Scott, Ashley Nicolle Scott, Juan Carlos Chavez, and Alexandria Chavez; and her granddaughter, Valerie Claire Dominick. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2017 at 6:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Funeral Home, 11150 E. Dartmouth Ave. Aurora, CO 80014. Relatives and friends are invited to visit with Maria’s family prior to the service from 5:00 - 6:00 PM at the funeral home.
