Maria Guadalupe Quezada

María Guadalupe Gómez Quezada, 79, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2012 at her home in Westminster. Born January 12, 1933 in Juchipila, Zacatecas, Mexico, María was a devoted wife, a loving mother and grandmother, and a loyal sister and friend. María raised two successful children, José de Jesús (""Jessie"") and Martha, both educators. She instilled in them a lifetime love of learning and a commitment to educating children. María cherished her family above all and devoted her life to them. María loved to cook, sew, travel, and spend time with family and friends. María is survived by José Guadalupe Quezada, her husband of 48 years; children Jessie Quezada and Martha Quezada Arguello; grandsons Noah Quezada, Gabriel Quezada, and Mateo Arguello; her brothers, Ruben Flores and Ignacio Flores; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her siblings Pedro Flores, José Flores, Trinidad Flores, Rogelio Flores, and Pedro Flores, Lola Corona, and Jesús Martinez; and grandson Joaquin Arguello. Visitation will be Sunday, April 1, 2012, from 12:00PM-4:00PM. Funeral Mass will be Monday, April 2, 2012, 11:00AM, both at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 9998 Grant Street, Thornton, Colorado.
