Marian Eileen Doolittle de'Sha

Marian Eileen Doolittle de'Sha, 95, passed away on October 26, 2013 at Davis Hospice in Cheyenne. She lived in Aspen Winds Assisted Living since 2011. She was born to Ernest L. and Sarah Carney Doolittle on June 14, 1918, in Denver, Colorado. In 1939 she married Paul B. de'Sha. She was a dedicated member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Daughters of the Nile, and Dancers and Pageantry. She also helped to found the Swinging 30's Graduates of Manual High School in Denver. Marian is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, including Susan Parkins and her husband, Bob, of Cheyenne; and sisters Leona Wesley of Torrance, California, and Fern Maril of Wichita, Kansas. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and sister, Frances Hellewell. Memorial services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 3201 S. Parker Road, Aurora, Colorado. Interment will occur at Fairmount Cemetery. Cremation has taken place at Cheyenne Memorial Gardens under the direction of Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel. Memorial donations in Marian's name can be made to Davis Hospice or any Shriner Hospital for Children.
