Mariann Elizabeth Whitehouse

Mariann Whitehouse passed away on November 24, 2017 in Denver, Colorado. Born on October 17, 1931 in Appleton Wisconsin, the daughter of Ray and Lucy Younger. She lived in many cities including St. Louis, Chicago and Milwaukee until moving to Denver in 1962 to make her home and raise her three daughters. She worked in the banking industry as an Operations Specialist until retiring in 1996. Mariann loved to explore and enjoyed documenting her travels and experiences in her writing and photography. She loved spending time with her family - on family vacations, listening to music, and hiking Colorado’s mountain trails. Mariann loved the outdoors, viewing birds and nature in Denver’s many parks or just in her own backyard. Human connection and conversation was very important to Mariann she was a storyteller and loved to hear others tell stories. Mariann is survived by her three daughters Cathy, Judith and Patricia.
