Marianne R. Coulter

d. June 23, 2009

Marianne Rose Stasko Coulter, born in Colorado Springs, Colorado on March 6, 19XX--shame on you for asking. Married Alvin Coulter, October 2, 1954. She and Al raised two children: Jude (Judie) and Chris. Marianne was a talented artist and loved drawing her trademarked 'Daisy Peddlar'. She loved to laugh, drink coffee, play games-especially cards, dance, roller-skate, play piano, and entertain family and friends in her home. She was active in the Molly Brown House fashion shows and historic Denver activities in the early 70s. In the 1980's Marianne realized her dream of owning a gift shop, featuring her art and other specialty items. In the 1990's Marianne experienced one of her greatest joys in life—her grandchildren: Brittany, Morgan, Gabe and Nathaniel. They helped keep her young. She will be greatly missed by those of us left behind, but we know she is with Al. And that she and her aunts and mom are having quite a 'gab-fest'. Vigil Rosary will be held Sunday, June 28, 2009 at 7:00 PM at Horan & McConaty Family Chapel, 5303 East County Line Road (just to the west of Holly Street), in Centennial, Colorado. Funeral Mass will be held Monday, June 29, 2009 at 11:00 AM, at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, 8035 South Quebec Street, in Centennial, Colorado. Interment follows at 2:30 PM at Fort Logan National Cemetery, Area ""B"", 3698 South Sheridan Boulevard, in Denver, Colorado. Memorials in Marianne's name may be made to Poor Fund, c/o St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1408 South 10th Street, St. Louis, Missouri, 63104.
