Marie Agnes Stevens

January 20, 1928 — August 5, 2018

Marie Agnes Stevens, aged 90, died peacefully on August 5, 2018 at her home in Denver, Colorado. Marie was born January 20, 1928 in Chicago, Illinois, the daughter of John and Mary (Blaskovits) Obojkovists.

Marie attended Calumet High School in Chicago, Illinois and graduated in 1946. She enjoyed ceramics, china painting, was an avid reader, and excelled in culinary skills.

On September 29, 1950, Marie married married Dr. Adam Stevens. After retirement, Adam and Marie enjoyed travelling extensively throughout continental US in their Airstream trailer. Marie was widowed in August 2000 and as of 2012 she lived in Denver, Colorado enjoying time with family.

She was proceeded in death by her parents John and Mary Obojkovits, brother John, and loving husband Adam.

Marie is survived by daughters Stephanie Stevens and Christine Dixon. Grandmother of Viviana Stevens and Mathew (Melissa), Mark, Michael (Kiara), and Christopher Dixon. Great-grandmother of Gabrielle and Cameron Dixon as well as other surviving family members.

There will be a Viewing at 5:30pm followed by a Rosary at 7pm Tuesday August 21^st at Horan & McConaty 1091 S. Colorado Blvd, Denver, CO.

Memorial services will be held at 10am Thursday August 23^rd at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 4900 Montview Blvd, Denver, CO.

Interment will be at Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana. Please share your thoughts and memories. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be sent in her name to Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.
